2012 Australian Lightweight crew making good progression

Hannah and Sydney's Bronwen Watson have settled in well to training in the new Australian combination for the lightweight Double sculls.

Training in Canberra as winter starts to near, Hannah says that the boat has been moving extremely well during training with some positive signs 'We can see at the end of each session there is a noticible improvement each time they step into the boat at present, and we great confidence to try new things to foster that improvement'.

The girls have another two weeks in Canberra before heading to Sydney for World Cup racing simulation before a quick weekend visit back home to her family before heading off for 3 month tour or Europe which will hopefully culminate in Olympic Success.

Hannah makes it three in a row!

Hannah overcame a disrupted preparation to take out her third national lightweight single scull title in a row. Held at Champion Lakes outside of Perth, Hannah wore down a class field to storm to the front in the final 250m.

The barnstorming run resulted in Hannah taking the title from fellow shadow squad member Ella Flecker with Hannah's doubles partner from 2010 and 2011 coming home in third
